29th Annual Corrosion Control Seminar

Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas will host the 29th Annual Corrosion Control Seminar. Classes entitled Basic Cathodic Protection Rectifier Training and Techniques for Field Applied Pipeline Coatings on April 12.  Two tracks on basic cathodic protection instruction & testing technical sessions will be offered including basic electricity for cathodic protection, fundamentals of CP, line locator theory and principles instruction.

See innovative corrosion monitoring equipment, holiday and short detection using ACVG, corrosion protection for tank bottoms and Atmospheric Inspection of Piping.

Mike Ames, of Chapman Engineering, will speak about A/C Interference Mitigation process on the 13th and 14th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
